Jackfruit Tostadas

Jackfruit Tostadas

In a Pot Boil 1 can of Jackfruit with Bay Leaves


In a separate pan add small amount of your choice of oil and add:

  • Chopped Potatoes (lengthwise)

  • Pepper to your liking

  • ¼ cup of water

Cover pan for Potatoes to cook –10 min

Add to the pan:

  • 1 Roma tomato (diced lengthwise)

  • ¼ onion (diced lengthwise)

  • The 1 can of Jackfruit (drained)

  • 1 small carrot grated

  • 7 ounce can of Tomato Sauce

  • 1 cup of water

  • Garlic Powder (to taste)

  • Oregano (to taste)

  • Chilli powder (to taste)

(cover pan) allow simmer for 20 minutes

Prepare your tostada and add fried beans to tostada

  • Top the fried beans with Jackfruit Mix

  • Add chipped lettuce

  • Add Sour Cream of your choice

Add Jalapenos or chilies/salsa of your choice and enjoy!
